I got this letter on Mid-March
It's my unconditional offer letter from Sheffield Hallam University!!

Am I leaving my love ones to fulfill my dream??It has been always my dream to pursue my studies to abroad. Go to another country, study, experience their culture, their love towards the people, food, weather,art and scenery. Now I have the chance!! Yess!!!

So went on to make the air ticket payment.. a week before departure I got this (picture above).. the airline ticket.. EMIRATES!!

Had my ACCA exam on 15th and 16th June.. The next day is 17th June.. That very night I am flying to Manchester!!

Well.. Excited but sad and weak.. Because I am leaving my dearest family.. I bet they felt the same.. But they didn't show it to me.. They stand by my side.. hold my hands.. Taught me to pursue what my heart desires..

'SHE' came down from Penang and gave me the sweetest touch which I can feel till now.. My grandpa kisses me on my forehead.. My uncle, aunt and my 'dost' ('best-est friends) wish and send me with full of love..

All this that made me alive and stronger to go on treasure ' THE BEAUTIFUL RIDE'

Now.. The journey in Emirates Airline - KLIA to Dubai to Manchester Airport!!
I sat beside one of my closest friend 'Chong Hsiaowen'.. She's very cute, adorable but I tell you sometimes she's very very fuzzy..

That's Chong Hsiaowen.. She accompanies me with all her stupid questions, cute little emotions and lots and lots of shouting throughout the journey.. If she sees the above pic I posted, she is going to shout again..

She'll complain the face too big la.. camera sucks la.. hahaha.. I had a great time with her..
First time traveling on a long-haul journey!! Emirates provides a memorable ride!! They have screen on each seat!! Phone!! Games!! Movie!!

You actually can see the take off and landing through the screen from the pilot view!! You can call anyone in the plane for free.. you can play game with them as well!!

Of course their movies!! I watched two movies 'Exam' ( a must watch movie.. very interesting) and a hindi movie (De Dana Dan)

After a fantastic approximately 15hours in Ride ( 7 1/2 hours to Dubai , 7 1/2 hours to Manchester) Here I am in Manchester Airport!!

When I depart from KLIA.. the weather in Malaysia was real hot!!.. I walk out of Manchester Airport.. WOW it was really cold.. RAINING LAGI!! MY GOD!! SEJUK GILA!!

I've got the best ever welcome in Manchester Airport!! One from the immigration officer!! And another one from two beautiful people with love and caring to each other!!

' I was pushing my trolley with bags of 39.4 kgs.. You know.. the pathway outside the airport is not straight.. It's slightly slopping.. I found it very difficult to control my trolley and my luggage fell down.. Before I realize.. ' there's such a lovely voice from my back.. " Oh dear.. Let me give you a hand" (can't really understand their slang!! But guess that is what they say) a wonderful couple (made for each other) around the age of 60-65 came and help me!! Help me carry the luggage and put it on the trolley and teach me the right way to push the trolley!! They gave me the sweetest smile (My first smile I receive in UK) .. and wish me luck!! Reminds me of my dad's wish ' Remember the love, You will be you'.. I smile to myself.. I knew it from that moment!! I am going to treasure my time, my life here with the thing I adore most.. 'LOVE'

The meal on plane.. Not so bad!

This feature is awesome.. You can actually see where is the plane flying.. Like we past through the 'Selat Malaka' .. the South Chinese Ocean ( Something like that .. dunno exactly what the name of the ocean)..

In the coach I sat beside Chai Wen Chong.. Had a nice chat with him while enjoying the scenery on my way to Charlotte Court, Sheffield!!

Along the way from Manchester Airport to Sheffield.. Most of them in the bus was like ' WAHH!! WAHH!! 'WEI WEI LOOK AT THAT!! '....

Because it is like totally new to us.. Especially those from Kuala Lumpur..

A little bit about Kuala Lumpur
- Capital city of Malaysia
- Also known as 'Bandaraya Moden' ( Modern City )
- Also known as 'Bandaraya Bercahaya' ( City of Light )

It's beautiful in Kuala Lumpur.. But what we see here on our way is something really wonderful and we can't see it in Kuala Lumpur..

Reached Charlotte Court!! Home Sweet Home!! My home for the next 3 months!!

They allocate the room for us. I will be staying with Justin. My other friends got different room. Some came earlier than me.. The girl Hsiaowen will be staying with Chua and the gang.

They are just few doors away. They told me that they'll be always there for me.. How sweet.. But I'll Have Justin with me!!! But.. Justin will be arriving tomorrow nie..hmm.. So.. I carry my luggage (39.5kg's to my flat alone.. Aduhh.. Suddenly must climb up the stairs.. I decided to leave one luggage down and carry one up first..

I open my flat door.. I walk in.. Jonathan welcomes me!! He is my new flat mate.. New Friend!! He's British!! He offered me help. He introduced me to my other flat mate .. Emily and Tom ( Both British) hahaha.. Was really happy.. I am going to stay with foreigners!! Good opportunity for me to learn a lot of things!!

I had my warmest welcome when I step in the country.. The sweetest welcome when I step into my flat.. After a while.. Michelle (classmate in TARC) nudged me inviting me to her flat!! Chit Chat with my friends who came earlier than me.. wow.. Was really happy..

I thought I will be struggling alone here in UK but people around me - the local people, my friends from Malaysia made me strong and gave me the love that I needed!! Thank you guys!! Love you all!!!

I was spending my time with Jonathan, Emily and Tom.. Learn a lot about the local culture and about the country!!

- England is sometimes, wrongly , used in reference to the whole United Kingdom. England, Scotland, Wales, Great Britain refer to different parts of the UK.

- Roast beef and Yorkshire puding - Its England traditional Sunday Lunch!!

- The female will wear wedding ring on their left hand!

- They love drinking beer! You can get beer everywhere in SHeffie!! It's like our teh tarik or Chinese Tea!!

- Sunny day is the best day for them but for us Malaysian - we'll stay away from sun as much as we can!!

- Some new words and comparison that Emily and John gave me about this American and British English!! And Andrew .. this one is for you.. I translate it into Malay.. Will be useful to you when the next summer group student came down.

One beautiful experience I would like to share..

On my first day of uni.. Hsiaowen and myself.. suppose to go this 1 room for our IT session.. We don't know the way.. So, we were standing at a place and figuring out our way.. Suddenly.. One beautiful young lady ( guess she overheard our conversation ) approached us.. and give us the direction.. How sweet.. We din't ask anything from her.. She came and she approached us in the sweetest way to solve our problem..

Nasi Lemak Ayam!! - perfect breakfast to kick off your Sunday.. Malaysian traditional breakfast.. My god!! Miss them so much!!

Alrite this is rojak mamak - origin in Singapore but popular in Malaysia.. You can have this at abt 3pm or 4pm.. Itz fantastic!!

Cendol!!!! - Hot sunny day?? All you will look for is Cendol!! Itz col!!d.. refreshing and hmmm.. I don't what else to say!!

Maggi goreng!! Very popular in Mamak Restaurant !! If u go in a restaurant and you dont know what to eat .. this is what you will and should order!!

Mee Kari!! Everyone in Malaysia loves it!!

Mamak mee goreng!! - Very popular in the evening!! People will sit in restaurant after work.. Will order teh tarik and mee goreng!! Perfect combination!!

Penang nasi kandar - line clear!! - Very-very popular in Malaysia!! You must try this if you go to Penangand even if you are in any part of Malaysia.. People will go to Penang just to eat their nasi kandar line clear.. It's just a normal stall!! but they provide variety of delicious dishes!! Combination of ayam made.. and mixture of curries is my fav!!
