- Roast beef and Yorkshire puding - Its England traditional Sunday Lunch!!

- The female will wear wedding ring on their left hand!

- They love drinking beer! You can get beer everywhere in SHeffie!! It's like our teh tarik or Chinese Tea!!

- Sunny day is the best day for them but for us Malaysian - we'll stay away from sun as much as we can!!

- Some new words and comparison that Emily and John gave me about this American and British English!! And Andrew .. this one is for you.. I translate it into Malay.. Will be useful to you when the next summer group student came down.

Hahaha.. Learn alot from them.. Such a ice people.. I realise people in Sheffield are loving, polite, helpful, kind .. the list goes on..

One beautiful experience I would like to share..

On my first day of uni.. Hsiaowen and myself.. suppose to go this 1 room for our IT session.. We don't know the way.. So, we were standing at a place and figuring out our way.. Suddenly.. One beautiful young lady ( guess she overheard our conversation ) approached us.. and give us the direction.. How sweet.. We din't ask anything from her.. She came and she approached us in the sweetest way to solve our problem..

So was walking around Sheffield.. At first .. I thought there is only 1 beautiful city in the world which is Kuala Lumpur.. But now.. Sheffield is also one of them.. The pictures around us..

Nasi Lemak Ayam!! - perfect breakfast to kick off your Sunday.. Malaysian traditional breakfast.. My god!! Miss them so much!!

Alrite this is rojak mamak - origin in Singapore but popular in Malaysia.. You can have this at abt 3pm or 4pm.. Itz fantastic!!

Cendol!!!! - Hot sunny day?? All you will look for is Cendol!! Itz col!!d.. refreshing and hmmm.. I don't what else to say!!

Maggi goreng!! Very popular in Mamak Restaurant !! If u go in a restaurant and you dont know what to eat .. this is what you will and should order!!

Mee Kari!! Everyone in Malaysia loves it!!

Mamak mee goreng!! - Very popular in the evening!! People will sit in restaurant after work.. Will order teh tarik and mee goreng!! Perfect combination!!

Penang nasi kandar - line clear!! - Very-very popular in Malaysia!! You must try this if you go to Penangand even if you are in any part of Malaysia.. People will go to Penang just to eat their nasi kandar line clear.. It's just a normal stall!! but they provide variety of delicious dishes!! Combination of ayam made.. and mixture of curries is my fav!!

My fav lunch!! U find any malay stall... and pick anything u like .. they'll have variety of dishes!!

Nasi goreng kampung - fried rice with a very special touch of village smell!! Best fried rice!!

ABC!! - Ais Batu Campur.. Fantastic !! real tasty!!

Laksa!! - Famous in Johor

Penang Char Kuey Teow - Another famous food in Penang!!

SAMBAL BELACAN !!! U eat this with white rice.. the best!! Spicy!!

Roti Canai!! Another popular breakfast!!

I have talked about the culture, norms, people in Sheffield, even some signs that we can;t find in Kuala Lumpur an weather.. Besides all that.. I felt that there is another major different in Sheffield compare to Kuala Lumpur!!

A lot of changes in me since the day I reached Sheffield!!

- I started to fol my clothes which I hardly do in Kuala Lumpur!! I learn to fold my shirts from a video posted in youtube!! I'll give you the link here.. Do visit an learn!! Very useful!!

- Started to use vacuum cleaner.. Vacum my room carpet!! The corridor!!

-Prepare my own food!! - Maggi goreng, rice, cut chicken ( Justin cook it ) , very own recipe sandwiches, coffee, tea, bread pizza ( My special )





- Do my own laundry !! back at home.. will just throw it in the basket.. Mom will help me put inside the machine..


- CLean my bed!! Put the sarung bantal. sarung tilam..

- Walking a lot here!! Unlike in KL.. Must drive everywhere..

Besides all those little2 stuffs.. most importantly, I started to appreciate love.. Appreciate time that we have to spend time on love.. Back at home.. Mom and Dad will be in home, but rarely spend some good time with them and will not appreciate the time.. over here.. I miss them so much.. Really wanted to talk to them.. see them face to face.. Hug my mom.. eat the food that she prepared.!!

Even to 'she' .. will not really appreciate the time ! spend with her.. Now.. Miss her so much..
I promise 1 post of mine will be about her!!

' Humans .. they dont appreciate something when it is eay to obtain.. It is not too late for me to learn this .. I'll be back to KL in 3 months time.. I'll make sure to not repeat my same attitude towards them..

So if am free from assignment or outinf.. this is what I'll be doing!!
